The Kingdom of Bahrain issued its first Personal Data Protection Law, which is due to be implemented by all organizations in the Kingdom by 1 August 2019. The new Law is aiming to transform the way companies collect, store, use, disclose and dispose personal information. According to the new Law, organizations need to take certain measures to ensure efficient, secure and effective processing of personal data of its customers, suppliers and employees.
